The Low Lounger is a slipper-height chair for the slow corners of a cafe. Its deep box seat is upholstered in grey fabric in the photo, and the back is a curved solid-wood rail with an open cane panel, low enough that the chair never blocks sightlines across the room.
With no arms, it slides close to a side table and lets guests sit sideways or cross-legged, which is how people actually use lounge seats in a coffee shop. Two Loungers and a small table turn a forgotten window bay into a spot regulars ask for.
The frame is solid hardwood in a natural oak tone, joined with glue and mechanical fixings at the legs and back rail. The seat is high-resilience foam on a plywood platform; the cane panel is set into a rebate in the rail so it can be replaced without rebuilding the chair.
Where it works: lounge corners, window bays, hotel cafes, Japandi and mid-century interiors.
Options: frame stain, seat fabric or faux leather, natural or dark cane. Pair with the Cane Drum Side Table. Confirm fire requirements for upholstered and woven items in your location at quote stage.
