The Slipper is an armless lounge chair, which makes it the easiest lounge seat to fit. Without arms, it is narrower than a club chair and can sit close to its neighbor around a low table, letting you seat four in a corner where only three armchairs would fit.
The seat and back are padded cushions (grey in the photo) on a solid-wood frame with a plywood back panel. The frame is lacquered and the cushions are upholstered in faux leather or contract fabric, chosen for how much cleaning the corner will see.
Where it works: four-seat lounge groupings, coworking cafes, hotel lobby coffee bars.
Options: wood tone, upholstery, a slightly higher seat (17 in / 43 cm) for guests who prefer to eat in the lounge corner. Pair with a 16-18 in (41-46 cm) high coffee table and keep 18 in (46 cm) of legroom in front of the chair.
