A table for a cafe with a long wall of banquette: the white sintered stone top has fine grey veins and a few warm copper-gold streaks that run across the length, so it looks like a slab of marble but wipes clean like a countertop. A brushed champagne edge band outlines it with rounded corners.
The legs are four tapered timbers in a smoky, slightly warm brown, splayed a touch and fixed to a slim champagne-colored frame under the top. Slender legs keep the table visually light, which helps when a room has a lot of tables.
Where it works. Four-top runs along a wall, shared tables, brunch rooms and bakery-cafes with larger groups.
Height and size. 29½ in (75 cm) high and 47¼ × 23⅝ in (120 × 60 cm): sits two guests a side comfortably, or three with compact chairs. This is a dining-height table, not a bar table.
Options. Other lengths and widths, round or rounded tops, other slab patterns, edge colors and wood stains are available on request; all are made to order.
