This is the table for a cafe that wants contrast: a crisp white stone top with dramatic grey veining against deep walnut. The sintered stone is inset into a rounded walnut border, and a thin brass line runs between the two materials like a pencil outline.
The base is a smooth walnut cone, wide at the floor and narrowing to a brass collar just under the top. There are no legs to bump into and no cross-members to trap crumbs; the cone's wide foot also makes the table hard to tip. Another thin brass ring sits at the foot of the cone as a floor-level detail.
Where it works. Boutique cafes, hotel breakfast rooms, tea salons and any room where the tables are meant to be noticed as part of the design.
Height. 29½ in (75 cm) dining height, not a coffee-table height.
Practical note. The cone base takes up the middle of the floor area; for two guests that works well, and we can confirm clearances for your chair on the shop drawing.
Options. Other sizes, round tops, other slab patterns, timber stains and brass finishes are available on request.
