A quiet, architectural table: a pale cream sintered stone top with a very light mottle, a slim smoked-bronze band around the edge, and a single square column in the same bronze metal that narrows slightly toward the top. The column stands on a stepped, four-sided plinth in walnut-tone timber, which gives the table a low center of gravity.
The weight in the base makes it feel steady when guests lean on it, and the plinth sits well inside the top, so legs and feet are never in the way of chairs. The timber has a visible grain and a satin finish, which warms up the cool metal.
Where it works. Cafes with a modern-classic look, hotel lounges that serve coffee and cake, bookshop cafes and dessert bars.
Height. 29½ in (75 cm) dining height, so guests can eat, not just rest a cup.
Care. The stone top wipes clean; wipe the timber plinth with a lightly damp cloth and dry it, especially after floor mopping.
Options. Other sizes, other slab patterns, round tops, metal finishes and timber species or stains are available on request.
