The Cross-Base gives you the practicality of a pedestal table in solid wood. Four slats form an open column under the center of the top and land on a cross-shaped wooden foot, so the table has no corner legs and chairs slide in from every side.
It suits cafes where steel would feel too industrial: bakery-cafes, Japanese-style coffee shops, rooms full of plants and natural light. The top is veneer or solid wood in a warm stain, sealed with PU lacquer; the foot carries four leveling glides.
Where it works: wooden interiors, window runs, two-tops paired with the Barista Walnut-Back Chair or Crema Shell Chair.
Sizes: 24 × 24 in (61 × 61 cm) and 28 × 28 in (71 × 71 cm). A rectangular four-top on a double cross base can be made to match.
Options: wood species and stain, top material, size.
