The Ring is defined by one gesture: a thick upholstered band that curves from arm to arm around the back, floating above a separate seat cushion. It gives guests support on three sides while keeping the chair low and open, so a room full of them still feels airy.
The ring and seat are upholstered in teal faux leather in the photo, over a plywood and foam construction. The legs are pale solid wood, set wide for stability. Because the ring is low, the chair can sit at a 30 in (76 cm) table and the ring stays below most table aprons.
