The same deep-pile checkerboard as our Checkerboard Shearling Armchair, here on a long crescent sofa. The back is a low continuous roll, the arms are thick and rounded, and two seat cushions follow the curve. The piece sits on a recessed base so the fabric seems to go right to the floor.
Pair it with one or two of the checkerboard armchairs and a round coffee table for a lounge corner that photographs well, or use it alone as a single bold piece against plain walls. A curved sofa of this length seats three guests comfortably, or four on a busy afternoon.
Construction: plywood and solid wood frame, high-resilience foam with fiber wrap, contract faux shearling; recessed base with glides.
Where it works: dessert cafes, coffee shop lounges, concept stores and hotel lobbies.
Care: deep pile should be brushed regularly; ask about performance-pile options for heavy-use zones.
Options: length, fabric (COM accepted); CAL TB 117-2013 foam on request.
