A lime and cream zigzag stripe brings a hit of color to a coffee shop lounge corner, and the cane side panels keep the chairs from looking heavy. All four versions use a walnut-tone solid wood frame with cane webbing set between the legs and arms.
Versions shown:
- button-tufted back cushion over a piped seat, flat wood arms and cane sides
- three-channel puffed back and seat in a cane-sided frame
- a rounded box armchair with L-shaped cane and walnut side panels
- a curved one-piece back on an open wood frame with flat arms
These are lounge-height chairs for side tables and longer stays, not for dining tables. Two facing each other across a small round table make a good laptop-free conversation corner.
Construction: solid wood frame with glued and screwed joints, catalyzed lacquer; cane webbing in routed frames; plywood deck, high-resilience foam with fiber wrap, contract woven fabric.
Where it works: coffee shop lounges, hotel cafes, bookstore cafes and salons.
Options: frame version, stain, fabric (COM accepted); CAL TB 117-2013 foam on request.
