The Espresso chair is a compact, graphic side chair for counters and two-tops. A round seat pad in a cream textured fabric sits inside a black steel ring, carried on four straight black tube legs. Two rear posts rise from the ring, each with a short polished chrome section near the top, and hold a curved back plate in black-stained wood.
The round seat takes up less floor area than a square one, so the chair tucks well under 24 in (61 cm) tables and turns easily in tight aisles. The black-and-chrome frame works with dark counters, terrazzo and tile, and the seat color can be changed to match your palette.
Construction: powder-coated steel tube frame with chrome-plated accents; molded plywood or solid wood back plate; plywood seat base with high-resilience foam and contract fabric or vinyl; nylon glides.
Where it works: espresso bars, bakery counters, small specialty cafes and dessert shops.
Options: seat fabric or vinyl (COM accepted), back stain, frame color; counter-height version on request.
