Muted khaki leaves on a cream ground make this a quieter choice than our bolder prints, the fabric for a coffee shop that wants pattern without noise. The frames are solid walnut-tone wood and vary from chair to chair.
Frame shapes shown:
- a button-tufted back cushion with flat arms and cane panels below
- a three-channel back in the same cane-sided frame
- a slung back panel on a sloping frame with flat paddle arms
- a curved shell back inside a continuous wraparound wood arm
- compass A-frame legs with upholstered arm caps
- a sloping lounger with triangular cane sides
- a Z-frame side with a single flat arm
- an armless slipper on V-shaped legs
Most of the photos show the backs, which are fully upholstered with piped edges, so the chairs look finished from behind when they float in the middle of a room.
Construction: solid wood frames, glued and screwed, catalyzed lacquer; cane webbing in routed frames; plywood deck, high-resilience foam with fiber wrap; contract fabric.
Where it works: cafe lounges, bookstore cafes, hotel lobbies and coworking cafes.
Options: frame shape, stain, fabric (COM accepted); CAL TB 117-2013 foam on request.
