A textured stripe in cream, rust, olive and charcoal gives this family a handwoven, earthy character that sits well with timber counters and terracotta. The upholstery is a thick seat and square back; the frames are solid walnut-tone wood, always left exposed.
Frame designs shown:
- compass A-frame legs with upholstered bolster arm caps
- a Z-shaped side frame that runs from the back leg up to a flat arm
- straight flat wood arms on a V-leg frame
- flat paddle arms angled out from a low frame
- a curved one-piece back in a four-leg frame with flat arms
- an armless slipper on V-shaped legs with a stretcher
- a three-channel back in a cane-sided frame
The photos include rear views, which show a neatly upholstered back and visible joinery, useful when chairs face the street window or the room.
