The Ristretto is built around one graphic idea: a molded wood back cut with radiating slots so it reads like an open fan. The round seat repeats the slots in a half-sun pattern, which keeps the chair visually airy and throws a striking shadow when the sun hits the floor. Both shells are pressed from multi-ply veneer, then sealed so coffee rings and pastry crumbs wipe straight off.
Underneath, thin chrome-plated steel rods form the legs and the back support. The frame is slim enough that four chairs fit around a 30 in (76 cm) round table without crowding, and the open back means a full room still looks uncluttered from the door.
Construction: molded veneer seat and back, slots CNC-cut and edge-sanded; steel rod frame, chrome plated or powder coated; floor glides chosen for tile, concrete or timber.
Where it works: window rows, bakery-cafes, brunch rooms that want a lighter look than a classic bentwood.
Options: natural oak, walnut or black stained veneer; chrome, brass-tone or matte black frame; a clip-on seat pad for guests who linger. Final dimensions are confirmed on the shop drawing before production.
