The Cold Brew combines the comfort of a fully upholstered seat with the lightness of an open wood frame. The body is a single soft form: a seat stitched into wide horizontal channels that curve up into a back with vertical channels, all covered in an oatmeal chenille. On each side, a Z-shaped sled frame in dark walnut-tone solid wood carries the upholstery and doubles as a floor runner.
The sled base spreads load across the floor, which helps on timber floors, and it lets the chair slide rather than catch when guests move it. Without arms, the chair can be placed side by side in a row along a lounge wall.
Construction: plywood inner frame, high-resilience foam with fiber wrap for the rounded channels, solid wood sled frames with commercial lacquer; felt or nylon glides.
Where it works: lounge corners, waiting areas, cafes that host events and need chairs that line up neatly.
Options: chenille, boucle, velvet or performance fabric (COM accepted); frame in walnut, oak or black stain; foam specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
